This picture shows to its extreme left the Castle building in 1907 which was at the top of Mill Street Newry, and as you can see it is the typical English square shaped tower alike that of Narrowater.  In my day the building was Converys shoe shop.  This post card picture was taken from marcus square which was also called the buttermarket, more precisley it was taken from what we now know to be the gate way into St Clares Convent.
